My Go-To Pizza Dough

The story isn't long here. This pizza dough is awesome! Super easy to work with and comes together quickly. So we tried it on our new BBQ that comes with the pizza stone insert. Oh yeah, it was perfect. The weather co-operated with us too, so we ate al fresco :) Ah, weekends!

 

My Go-To Pizza Dough

Number Of Servings:
Makes enough dough for 4 small pizzas or two 12-inch ones
 
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups warm water
2 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
Directions:
Combine water and yeast in a large bowl and let stand until the yeast is dissolved and foamy (this is how you know that you yeast is alive), about 5 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to sit in a warm spot for 45 minutes to overnight. Punch down and shape it on a floured workbench.
