Sinfully delicious! The cardamom in this recipe bring out a bright floral sweetness that is unexpected. The dark chocolate and the fresh cherries bring it in. Really, who doesn't like the chocolate and cherry combination? I'm a big fan. They were easy to assemble. The most time consuming was pitting and dicing the cherries. I don't have a cherry pitter, but that's ok.  It's a good thing I had bought a big bag of cherries. They were so sweet, I ate just as many as I chopped up for the cookies.  Give these a try.  You won't be disappointed!
